Si es bueno aprender algo nuevo

By Umesh K on 7/2/2018

Friends, like me, if you also are under the impression that we need to know advanced stuff like Angular, jQuery...etc., to create a todo list--that too one that persists our todo list in the browser even if we shutdown our PC, then you will be pleasantly surprised to know that we can do it using just ''plain'' JavaScript. Mr. Nevyan Neykov teaches us step by step at a pace that we newbies also can understand, follow, and code along to ''create'' our own Todo App! Source code also is provided in case we mess up while coding along. What was a ''wow!'' moment for me was when Mr. Neykov showed how HTML code can be embedded inside a JS function and also how CSS can be used to show text content only when our todo list is empty. All in all, a really useful course to not only learn how an app is built but also how a coder thinks and implements ideas step by step to complete the app.\n\nThank you, Mr. Neykov, for sharing your knowledge with us.

I'm just learning javascript. This looked like a quick project. However this is more of a 'code along, and the guy in the video codes RAPID. None of the code is actually explained so you don't really know what you're typing or why (at least I didn't). If you have some basic html5 css js experience already this might be OK for you for practice. As a beginner learning js however this is pointless. I had to play the videos at 0.75x speed just to keep up, even then I was pausing a lot. I gave up out of frustration and requested a refund. shame.
