Course Description

DescriptionIf you've learned a little bit about HTML and CSS than you're ready to take the next step in front end development with Javascript. Some people find javascript to be a little confusing, but I take you step by step through real world examples so that you can learn the easy way... By doing! What is Javascript? Javascript is what brings your website to life! Its what allows users to interact with things on your website. The page you're looking at right now uses it all over the place. See those little arrows below this description that give additional details about this course? Well when you click on that to reveal the additional text, THATS JAVASCRIPT! Look off to the left where theres the description about me, when you click on the "more" button, thats JavaScript too!Why learn Javascript? If you're serious about being able to build a website, then knowing Javascript is essential. Without it you can't really consider yourself a front end developer. You can already see how its used on this one page alone, just imagine where else its used, and the possibilities of what YOU can do with it. This course will take you from knowing nothing to being a javascript pro. You wont just learn some boring code syntax, you'll learn how to use it in real life examples.Who this course is for:Aspiring Web Developers / DesignersFront End Developers

After working 15 hour days as a restaurant manager, I decided that it was time for a change. After learning the basics of web development, I knew that I had found my new career. Today, I specialize in being an all-in-one digital guru. I've done everything from creating custom Content Management Systems (CMS) for employers to track their employees, to professional corporate websites, to e-commerce sites, as well as blogs. I'm a developer, designer, and marketer for my customers. I focus on making well structured sites that naturally rank well in search engines.

I have taken some JavaScript course as part of a web development course. I wanted to take this one to further my knowledge about JS and learn in depth from the beginning. However, I found this course to be very unhelpful and disorganized from the start. There is no flow of what the course attempts to teach or what the target is at the end of a lesson. I would have been completely lost and confused watching this had I not learned some JS prior to this.

This course is useful for JavaScript basics. I also gained a few tidbits that I hadn't encountered in other courses I've taken to date, but I would never classify the material as complete and practical. If anything, it's a small stepping stone to really learning how to apply the technology in real-world ways.

I love the way Bradley teaches with his step-by-step examples that teach the methods and really make them stick. At the time I am writing this review, there is still more to added, but the content as it stands is fantastic for the beginning coder of JavaScript Thanks Bradley

I thought that knowing HTML and CSS was enough for front end development. Now I see how important JavaScript is. I'm so glad I took this course, in just a few hours, I learned everything I could need about JavaScript

This course is perfect for anyone wanting to learn Javascript, It's very well put together and very easy to understand, the video's are clear and precise. As the title says, the only real way to learn is by doing, and Bradley's teaching methods are easy to follow and understand, within no time I was coding in Javascript. Great Course.....
